FAMILY CELL

Role in our Parish: Ashadeep Clinic, Room No 1, 1st floor, Extension Building

Days and Timings: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 3.45 pm to 5.30 pm. 

Attending Doctors: Dr Jerry Braganza, Dr Enid Prabhu, Dr I P Jain

The clinic is open only to the poor of the parish.  Medicines prescribed by the attending doctors are dispensed from the clinic. Eligible parishioners must make an application together with the prescription and route it through their Parish Councillor / Animator for the approval of our Parish Priest. Thereafter they can come to the clinic and present it to Health Cell team for necessary action as per the rules and regulations laid down by the team of doctors and priests of the parish. Their prescriptions will be screened by the doctors at the clinic and only equivalent generic medicines available in stock in the clinic will be given. No branded medicines will be purchased for them.


Comprehensive blood tests are organized every six months for all parishioners at very nominal prices offered by the Cancer Patients Aid Association. Awareness programmes for Parkinson’s Disease and movement disorders, hepatitis, kidney problems and cancer were also organized.  Eight physiotherapy sessions were conducted in October 2019 for seniors of the parish. A blood donation camp is organised every six months on a Wednesday.
