CELLS AND ASSOCIATIONS
The Youth Council consists of young people aged 16 to 25 who represent their respective communities. The Youth Council functions as a separate entity focusing on building up the youth of the parish.
This is the name of the Association that caters to the young at heart of our Parish. Any parishioner who has attained the age of 60 years can become a part of this Club.
INTER RELIGIOUS DIALOGUE
The Inter Religious Dialogue cell in the parish was formed in June 2015. Although four parishioners successfully completed the BIRD course early on, we were able to organise our first programme, Inter Religious Meet, only on 6 November 2016.
THE CIVIC & POLITICAL CELL
The Civic & Political Cell is part of an initiative undertaken after the 2001 Synod in the Mumbai Archdiocese. Cells were formed for specific areas which needed apostolic action.
HOPE & LIFE MOVEMENT
The Hope & Life Movement was started by Mrs Antoinette D’Souza who brought the movement from France to Mumbai. Our association has grown spiritually and has spread to nearly half the number of parishes of our diocese.
THE NEO-CATECHUMENAL WAY
Under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, and concurrent with Vatican II, the Neo-Catechumenal Way was started in Madrid in 1964 by Kiko Arguello and Carmen Hernandez.
"Women, you are free!" - LK 13:12. This message of Jesus rings out loud and clear. That is why the Archdiocesan Women's Commission strongly believes in working for gender justice.
ST. VINCENT DE PAUL
The main activity of the SVP of our Parish is helping the poor by giving monthly rations. The SVP also has a mandatory obligation to aid the Aids Hospice and Leprosy Home in Kalyan
In order to take steps towards reducing our carbon footprint, the Green Cell has been set up in our Parish. This cell, comprising enthusiastic and concerned environmentalists, has not only parishioners but also people of other faiths and backgrounds.
The altar servers attend training programmes and rallies regularly. At the meetings they have quizzes and games which help them develop their knowledge of the Mass and the Catholic faith.
